• Warner Bros HD-DVD titles will ship in Late April
• The Kell factor means you might want that HDTV sitting closer to you than your old NTSC TV.
• Need to share an external hard drive between OS X and Windows machines? If the files are under 4GB, a drive partitioned in FAT32 will do.
• Our capture files typically run bigger than 10GB, so we format the external drive with OS X's HFS+ and run Mediafour's MacDrive 6 on the PCs. OS X will read NTFS formatted drives. It won't write to them! 
• Want to slow down your 802.11G network? Let 802.11B cards in!
• Viewer Question: can you use an HDTV as a desktop monitor?

• Viewer Tip: AOL's In2TV only runs on Windows XP or Windows 2000. We should have tested it on Linux or OS X:

A few minutes after we got locked into our studio, Microsoft announced that Windows Windows Vista will ship in January 2007. At least for consumers. The business version will ship in November 2006. Mary Jo over at Microsoft-Watch is all over this one!

• Wireless Beats Wires? Well, as long as you keep Gigabit Ethernet out of the mix.
• The Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router with SRX400 and Netgear RangeMax 240 WPNT834 wireless router are seriously fast. Over 100Mbps at close range!
• Free iPod? Wired says your personal info got sold!
• Bill Gates Mocks MIT's $100 Laptop.
• Classic TV for Free: In2TV (Pinky and the Brain, Chico and the Man, and quite a bit more.)
• Crack the Mac mini? The folks at Mac Mini Hacks do it with wires.

  No scrapes, but it takes a long time and a bit of patience. We're going back to the paint scraper method!

• Otterbox for the iPod for the iPod: Waterproof? Very. You'll need to find your own headphones, tho.
• Keeping gadgets dry on the cheap. (Hint: freezer bags.)

• It's not in beta, and Google's personalized home page ran a bit better.
• Scotchbrite mods... part one: Adam Podnar's website shows how to get that brushed aluminum look on your iPod. (We shoulda given Adam props on air!)
