Common upload problems

  • The file uploads but no processing starts.
  • The progress area shows a stall or watchdog warning.
  • The video encoded, but does not show on category pages yet.
  • Remote processing was cancelled and local fallback started automatically.

What to check

  1. Refresh the upload page once to be sure you are seeing current progress.
  2. Check the admin queue manager if you have access.
  3. If the queue entry failed or cancelled, retry it cleanly instead of starting another upload first.
  4. If remote processing completed but the video is still hidden, verify that the queue row reached complete and the promotion step finished.
