The drive is threatened by a violent desert storm—a chubasco—that puts both the cattle and the men in extreme danger. As the storm bears down, chaos spreads through the herd and the crew must fight to prevent a deadly stampede. Gil Favor works to hold the drive together under brutal conditions, while Rowdy Yates and the drovers struggle against the elements in a race to survive.
